In this course, momentum transfer, mass transfer, and heat transfer will be covered for incompressible, steady-state fluids in laminar flow.

Lecture 2 will focus on the following topics:
- Concept of Momentum Transfer
- Concept revisit for vector and tensor
- Define momentum and momentum flux
- Derivation of generalized Newton's Law of viscosity

The mathematical application of vector and tensor in transport phenomena is really important. During the class, I realized that I have forgotten some of the engineering and complex mathematics learned during 1st year and 2nd year. Luckily, AP Dr. Bawadi did a concept-revisit for the vector and tensor so that we can understand them better. Through the lecture, we learned about the expansion of vectors and tensors, and also the vector operator (Del). Besides that, after having this class, I realized that I can apply the generalized Newton's Law quickly to expand the combined momentum flux in the coming topics. Fundamental knowledge is important.
